Transformation

True transformation comes from our acknowledgement, confession, and belief in the blood, death, resurrection, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:18-19: "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."

Hope comes in the truth found in His Word that our old life is gone:

2 Cor 5:17: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come."

And every day is new:

Lam 3:19-24 'The thought of my suffering and homelessness is bitter beyond words. I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss. Yet I still dare to hope    when I remember this:

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”' NLT
